Scouts and Guides is a voluntary movement that aims to serve humanity and protect nature. Bharat Scouts and Guides was started in Kendriya Vidyalaya Bilaspur from 01 April 2022, which started with 12 scouts. Today, 38 scouts, 16 guides, 14 cubs and 15 bulbuls are part of this movement in the school.
The Bharat Scouts and Guides unit of Kendriya Vidyalaya Bilaspur, Yamunanagar conducts various activities in the school, in which children learn in various steps and stages and reach the President’s Award. In scouting, they learn to make wooden gadgets, maintain discipline, various types of knots/Lashing/Pioneering, first aid treatment, handle themselves when trapped in adverse circumstances and use useless things, help others in times of disaster.
